AIOU Enrollment – Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s start our simple guide on how to submit the admission form on the AIOU website.

1- Visit the Official Website (www.aiou.edu.pk)

You need to understand that the official website is www.aiou.edu.pk. You need to open your web browser and then go to this website. Once you open the website, you need to check the admission option.

Click the “Online Admission Forms” option to start enrollment.

2- Choose the Type of Enrollment

Now you will see the 4 different enrollment options that you can choose according to your needs. Here are the options:

1. Admissions for Fresh Students
2. Enrolment for Continuing Students
3. Download Prospectus (For National Students)
4. Download Prospectus (For International and Overseas Students)

You need to pick one option according to your needs and then proceed to the next step.

3- Create Your Student ID

The next step is to create your account with AIOU. You need to click on “Admission for Fresh Applicants”. It will open a new window where you can sign up and create your student ID. You have to use your email address to create your account.

Now click on “Create Account” to complete your enrollment with AIOU.

4- Enrollment Process

After creating your account, you need to login to your AIOU account and proceed to the online admissions tab. Here you will see two options:

• Open Distance Learning Programs
• Face-to-face Programs 

You need to choose Open Distance Learning Programs if you want to apply online and study from your home.

5- Choose Your Degree Program

Here you need to choose the degree program that you want to enroll in. Students can choose from intermediate to PhD programs.

6- Enter Your Degree Information

Once you’ve selected your desired degree program, you’ll be directed to a page where you need to provide detailed information about the program you’re enrolling in. 

This includes selecting your course subjects, the study mode, and any other required details. Make sure to double-check all the information you’ve entered to avoid any errors. After filling in all the necessary fields, click on the “Save and Continue” button to proceed.

7- Pay the Fee

The final step in your enrollment process is paying the application fee. AIOU offers various payment methods, including online banking, mobile payment options, and challan forms that you can submit at designated banks. 

After selecting your preferred payment method, follow the instructions to complete the payment. Once the payment is confirmed, your enrollment process will be finalized. You should receive a confirmation message or email with your admission details and further instructions.

AIOU Enrollment Forgot Username or Password

You are in a situation where you have forgotten your AIOU password or username. There is no need to worry as I have a solution for this issue.

Step 1: Visit the AIOU Official Website

Start by opening your web browser and going to the official AIOU website: www.aiou.edu.pk. Once you’re on the homepage, look for the “Online Admission Forms” option.

Step 2: Click on “Forgot Username/Password”

On the login page, you’ll see a link that says “Forgot Username/Password.” Click on this link to begin the recovery process.

Step 3: Enter Your Registered Email Address

You need to enter the email address you used when creating your AIOU account. Make sure to type it correctly. After entering your email, click on the “Submit” button.

Step 4: Check Your Email for Recovery Instructions

AIOU will send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password or recover your username. Open your email inbox, find the message from AIOU, and follow the steps provided.

Step 5: Reset Your Password or Recover Your Username

The email will guide you through resetting your password or finding your username or student ID. Follow each step carefully to complete the process. Once done, you can log in to your AIOU account using the new details.

Step 6: Log In with New Details

Now that you’ve recovered your username or reset your password, go back to the AIOU login page. Enter your new details and access your account without any hassle.

How to Check Enrollment Results?

After getting your enrollment with AIOU, you need to keep checking your results to know about your admissions updates. Here is the guide for you.

1. Open your web browser and go to the AIOU official website at www.aiou.edu.pk.
2. On the homepage, look for the “Examinations” tab in the main menu. Click on it to open the results page.
3. You will see a list of different programs. Choose the program you enrolled in by clicking on the relevant link.
4. You need to enter your roll number in the provided field. Make sure you have your roll number handy. After entering it, click on the “Submit” button.
5. Your enrollment result will appear on the screen. Take your time to review the details and ensure everything is correct.
6. If you want to keep a copy of your result, click on the “Print” option or save it as a PDF for future reference.
